Blue Zone

We want to ensure EVERYONE can enjoy our fun, free, family-friendly festival, so this year we will be trialling The Blue Zone (Skegness only).

Our age friendly Blue Zone will provide a calm, quiet, shaded area specifically for visitors with disabilities, life altering conditions or special educational needs, as well as their family and carers, to relax and refresh between exploring the festival.

As well as a moment of calm, this tailored area will feature:

  • Experienced staff members to help and assist
  • Shade and quiet
  • Seating (indoor and outdoor)
  • Refreshments
  • Relaxation activities

Whilst the Blue Zone will be free to enter, it will have a limited capacity, so entry will only be granted to those wearing an official SO Festival Blue Zone wristband.

Capacity permitting, SO Festival Blue Zone wristbands will grant wearers access to the Blue Zone throughout the festival.

If you believe the Blue Zone would benefit you, your family or group, please register your interest and order your SO Festival Blue Zone wristband(s) by emailing your name and the number of wristbands you require (one per person) to joely.mackenzie@mvtlc.org

All wristbands will be available for collection from the Information Point in Tower Gardens, Skegness on Saturday 31 August and Sunday 1 September 2019.

This zone has been supported by Without Walls Audience Development funding.
