Crowds followed the street theatre acts along Mablethorpe Promenade

CROWDS followed the street theatre acts along Mablethorpe Promenade on Friday, August 31 for the annual SO Festival. Families and friends watched and joined in the fun with a bigger audience than ever before.

SO Festival 2018 featured artists from Spain, France and England with a spectacular array of performances. The audience loved every minute; Sophie Bradbury aged 6 talks about Du Petit Monsieur “He is so funny! Can we come again?”

The weather was on their side as Ferran Orobitg from Fadunito said “It is a happy festival, and a lovely sunny day, just like at home in Barcelona.

“There has been lots of interaction with The Big Family and we like people taking part with us and being a child for a moment”. The audiences loved the new slapstick comedy theme and pop up artists “It is such a surprise for people as they are not used to our European shows popping up in places they don’t expect, but everyone was open minded and engaged!” says Ivan Cherry from Cie Du Petit Monsieur.
