SO Festival awarded Charter of Best Practice
Attitude is Everything improves deaf and disabled people access to live music (and festivals)!
The Attitude is Everything Charter of Best Practice encourages live venue promoters to publicly show their commitment to improving access, and is assessed by a nationwide team of Mystery Shoppers.
It is a real honour for us to be awarded the Attitude is Everything; Charter of Best Practise award as we join only 15 other bronze status festivals, which includes Cambridge Folk Festival, Green man and T in the Park.

Attitude is Everything aim to improve the provision for deaf and disabled people's access to live music and we are delighted to be recognised as providing an accessible festival for all to enjoy.
We have been working hard to offer advice on festival accessibility both on and offline, provide increased accessible opportunities taking SO Festival in to the community and provide accessible facilities and locations.
Attitude is Everything supports the music industry to make live music events more accessible. Having begun as a pilot project in 2000, they are now a fully independent charity and part of Arts Council England's National Portfolio of Organisations. Attitude is Everything encourage events producers to go beyond legal obligations set out in the Equality Act and implement Best Practice, providing a fair and equal service to their deaf and disabled customers.
