Blue Zone

Our age friendly Blue Zone will provide a calm, quiet, shaded area specifically for visitors with disabilities, life altering conditions or special educational needs, as well as their family and carers, to relax and refresh between exploring the festival. Find out more.

All performance locations have public toilets nearby – check the map or ask a festival assistant for directions.

There is a 20p charge for toilets both cash and cashless payments will be accepted. Cashless payment can be made using the following; Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Android (i.e. Google) Pay.

Unisex disabled toilets are accessible via a RADAR key.

In the event of a medical emergency please alert a member of staff so the first response team can get to you as soon as possible.


Performances using strobe and flash lighting are to be confirmed.


Magna Vitae will be taking photos at SO Festival. These images will be used by Magna Vitae to share news about the festival, and to publicise our events. They may be used in press releases, printed publicity and appear on our social media pages. They will be stored securely for as long as the image remains relevant to the usage purpose. The maximum is likely to be 10 years. If you would like us to delete any photograph that you, or your child, are shown in please email us at
