Accessibility

We are passionate about making arts and culture truly accessible to all and work hard to put you, our communities, and your unique needs to the forefront of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring SO Festival is an inclusive, safe and accessible space for everyone, by reducing or removing barriers to attendance.

If you have any questions or need assistance during the festival, please visit one of the Festival Information Points or speak to a friendly SO Festival Assistant, who will be more than happy to help.

Guide and Assistance Dogs

Guide and Assistant Dogs are welcome in all festival areas and fresh water is available at our Information Points. Please keep in mind that there could be dense crowds, high levels of noise, lasers, strobes and pyrotechnics if your dog is sensitive to any of these.
Ground Conditions

SO Festival is an outdoor event occasionally on grassed areas or beaches that may be wet, or Promenades next to beaches where strong winds could blow sand onto pathways. We endeavor to make the festival accessible, but conditions can be affected by the weather.
Choice of Seating

Alternative Seating is available at each performance spot on request (please ask a SO Festival Assistant prior to the show(s) you wish to watch).

Large Print Programmes

Large Print Programmes are available on request from the Festival Information Point.
Content Warnings

Where shows include sudden or loud noises, strobe lighting or themes aren't family friendly, we have indicated on the programme and timetables.
