The network brings together:

Established in 2017 by Magna Vitae in partnership with the Coastal Communities Alliance (CCA), CCN has grown into a leading platform for collaboration. With Arts Council England National Portfolio funding, secured in April 2023, we have expanded our reach, strengthening partnerships across UK coastal towns and European coastal regions.

The Coastal Communities Alliance is a national partnership committed to improving the quality of life and economic resilience of Britain’s coastal communities. Established in 2007 by Lincolnshire County Council, which continues to provide its secretariat, the Alliance brings together coastal local authorities, organisations, universities, and individuals with a shared interest in coastal development and regeneration.
The CCA operates as a brokerage organisation, fostering collaboration and building common purpose around the coast of Britain. Our vision is to provide a united voice for coastal communities, because collaborative working is stronger than individual working.
