As the final notes of music faded away and the last performers took their bows, the impact of SO Festival 2023 lingers on. This annual extravaganza continued to inspire, engage, and connect people through the power of art, leaving a lasting legacy in the hearts and minds of all who attended.

We reflect on the profound impact the festival has had on both the local community and visitors from near and far. The success of SO Festival would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our sponsors, partners, and the dedicated staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this grand celebration of art and culture to life.

Featuring everything from poetic puppetry and daring dancing, to immersive installations and creative conversations, 2023’s carefully curated programme of innovative art and entertainment took the audience on a joyous journey of discovery to experience something truly unique, with artists from the local and international circuit… and all for FREE!

Looking ahead, the SO Festival team is hard at work, planning and envisioning an even more spectacular event for the next edition. As we bid farewell to another remarkable year, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made the festival a resounding success.
