SO is more than a festival, we have a wide range of programmes that run year-round, designed to support Lincolnshire’s creatives and cultural organisations to live, work and thrive.

  • Creative Collective

    The SO Festival Creative Collective puts young people at the centre of creativity. You’ll explore festival and arts roles, build confidence, gain useful work experience and have your voice heard in real projects.

  • Talks and Workshops

    SO Festival's programme of workshops for creatives and arts professionals in Lincolnshire and the East Midlands. Designed to support creatives to build skills and confidence, whatever your artform or stage of your career.

  • Meet-Ups for Creatives and Meet-Ups for Marketers

    Regular meet-ups for arts professionals and also regular meet-ups for arts and culture marketers in Lincolnshire. Both meet-ups are designed to network, share best practice and undertake training.

  • Start and Sustain

    Start and Sustain is a programme that aims to support both local, national and international artists and creative sector workers, to start and sustain a career in the sector.

  • Coastal Culture Network

    Established in 2017 by Magna Vitae in partnership with the Coastal Communities Alliance (CCA). Arts Council England National Portfolio funding, has expanded our reach and further strengthen partnerships across UK coastal towns and European coastal regions.

  • Co-Creation Hub

    SO Festival's Co-Creation Hubs work to deepen community and partner engagement enabling local communities, supported by professional creatives, to co-create and co-produce relevant high-quality work that they will own, and that captures their imagination, inspiring and motivating them.

  • Outdoor Arts Development Scheme

    A brand-new scheme dedicated to supporting artists living and/or working in Lincolnshire, looking to develop their craft, and with ideas suited for outdoor public environments.

  • Creative Careers Programme

    The Creative Careers Programme is designed to inspire, encourage, and guide young people ages 16-25 toward exciting opportunities in the creative industries, building the next generation of artists, creators, and innovators in Lincolnshire.

  • International Programme Consortium

    A collaborative approach to international programming with other Lincolnshire-based partners to increase the amount of international art in the area, whilst decreasing artists environmental footprint, sharing SO Festivals learning and help partners to build skills and new international relationships.

  • Community Programme Team

    A programme created to develop community ownership and to introduce community voices to SO Festival and to help us to understand their cultural needs and interests.

  • SO Festival Projects

    SO is more than a festival, we also organise projects that run year-round, part of the programme designed to support Lincolnshire’s communities, creatives and cultural organisations.
