SO Create

Building Connections Across Lincolnshire's Creative Sector

SO Create is a new programme of regular events from SO Festival, designed to bring together creatives, artists, producers, community groups, cultural organisations and creative businesses from across Lincolnshire.

Think of it as LinkedIn in real life.

It’s a space where conversations become collaborations, ideas become projects, and connections lead to new opportunities.

Whether you’re an established creative practitioner, just starting your creative journey, or looking to connect with the cultural sector, SO Create offers opportunities to meet new people, share ideas and develop partnerships that can help your work grow.

Why SO Create?

Lincolnshire is home to a diverse and talented creative community. SO Create has been developed to strengthen these connections by bringing together people and organisations from across the county.

Through a programme of regular networking, learning and development events, SO Create will:

  • Connect artists, producers, freelancers and creative businesses
  • Encourage collaboration between the cultural, community, education and heritage sectors
  • Help spark new ideas, projects and partnerships
  • Share opportunities from SO Festival and partner organisations
  • Support creative development and career progression at every stage
  • Create pathways to future commissions, projects and funding opportunities

SO Create is open to anyone living or working in Lincolnshire who wants to engage with the creative sector, build relationships and be part of a growing creative network.
