Step into the extraordinary with ‘Alice,’ a youth circus performance that reimagines Wonderland through aerial arts, circus, and dance. Presented by our talented young performers, any of whom are part of our Circus for Everybody project, celebrating inclusion and creativity. ‘Alice’ is a vibrant journey where every twist, tumble, and twirl tells a story of imagination, courage, and belonging.

Creative Heights is a non-profit organisation that aims to provide a range of artistic learning, participation and engagement opportunities in Lincolnshire.

Anchored in Air

NOTE: This show starts with a 20 minute touch tour for those with visual impairment. 

Anchored In Air is an exhilarating aerial theatre show by Head Over Wheels, a company of disabled and non-disabled performers pushing circus boundaries. This debut show blends circus, dance, spoken text, and music, taking audiences on a thrilling journey with flying wheelchairs, integrated audio descriptions, and gravity-defying acrobatics.

The trio explores themes of identity, connection, struggle, and reward with a playful and human touch. Watch them navigate the ever-changing, challenging world with energy and charm.”

Reach new heights with our Accessible Aerial Workshop. This inclusive workshop is open to everyone — whether you’re a wheelchair user, have additional needs, or are simply ready to soar.

Using a specially designed rig that can safely support all bodies, we invite you to experience the joy, creativity, and freedom of aerial arts in a supportive and empowering environment.

No experience needed — just bring your sense of adventure!”

BOXED

Wired Studio

NOTE: Up to 30 participants at a time, recommended for ages 12 and up.

BOXED is a living sculpture in urban space, created by the participating audience. With instructions via headphones, you become part of a choreographic system, moving objects and shaping the space. The performance reflects on societal systems and the rules they require. 

Wired Studio, based in Copenhagen and led by artistic director Simone Wierød, is known for its unique style. 

Cloudscapes

Gobbledegook Theatre
Friday 13th June – 1pm – 6pm Tower Gardens, Skegness

Sunday 15th June – 1pm – 6pm, The Dunes, Mablethorpe

Cloudscapes is an outdoor show where performer Lorna Rees and the clouds take center stage. Up to 60 people relax on giant beanbags for 45 minutes, gazing at the sky while Rees, perched on a lifeguard chair, talks about cloud formation and shares personal stories about her connection to the clouds.

After the show, visitors can explore the Cloud Museum in a vintage horse trailer and chat with the artists.

Gobbledegook Theatre is a multidisciplinary arts practice, their live performance, sound and installation work is inspired by earth science and the planet we live on.

Encounters

Stalker Teatro

Encounters is an interactive, visually stunning performance inspired by the Old Testament. It explores human connections through simple props, inviting the audience to collaborate and create beautiful, unexpected images together.

Stalker Teatro, founded in 1986, emerged from the Political Collective at the Turin Academy of Fine Arts. Influenced by Jerzy Grotowski and Andrei Tarkovsky, they focus on artistic experimentation in socially sensitive contexts. They create site-specific performances and collaborate with prominent artists, performing across Europe and beyond.

Luigi Ciotta’s show takes us back to a 1930s imaginary hotel, filled with guests and countless old suitcases. Objects continuously transform, creating new scenes. Our charming porter battles chaos, accompanied by music. The performance blends physical theatre, clowning, and circus tricks, engaging the audience with its fast-paced and poetic charm.

Luigi Ciotta is a multifaceted artist combining: clowning, art, physical theatre and site-specific performances.

Prepare to be entertained by brooms, mops, toilet paper, and other cleaning tools! Le Chapoto isn’t just a story; it’s a whimsical fantasy, a delightful moment of entertainment! A quirky, unique circus performance for all ages.

The Bachi-Bouzouk Production Company was founded in 2001 in France. A professional puppet, shadow and object theatre company creating performances for children and families.

In their latest show, “League & Legend,” 15Feet6 take friendly competition to new heights, armed with pole vault poles and tape. Combining breathtaking circus skills with visual comedy, breaking records and captivating spectators. The name of the game may be irrelevant, but the show is anything but—prepare to be thoroughly entertained by 15Feet6!

15Feet6 is a Belgium-based circus company, that have been creating fun and engaging acrobatic outdoor performances since 2013.

Life’s a Beach

Life’s a Beach is a joyful, slightly chaotic look at a day at the beach. It playfully observes family life while addressing serious issues like sea pollution and antisocial behaviour. Blending dance and circus, the show is familiar, nostalgic, and deeply moving.

Following a couple from their 20s to old age, as well being hilarious, it touches audiences with moments of friendship, dog walking, and growing old together. The dynamic dance-acrobatic fusion creates relatable characters and scenarios.

An improbable crime, a suspicious trial and an absurd punishment. Melon, Mardi and Rossinyol face an unexpected conflict. This hilarious and terrifying experience tells the story of a truthful and rough friendship, caused by a sense of responsibility and of guilt.

As a paradox, they might cause the desire to die from laughter. Los Galindos, founded in 1991, from shared interests , youthful energy and collective creation. Inspired by the poetic and fantastical nature of the circus, they have crafted a distinctive artistic style.

Misplaced

A street performance that simultaneously captivates, enrages and intrigues, Misplaced is an audio-visual walkabout featuring a paper puppet that feels more human than the puppeteers. Watch it adapt to its environment, meet new people, and explore the world as the puppeteers fade into the background.

The performance delves into the socio-political effects of climate change through the voices of young people and the visual power of object manipulation. With headphones on, listen to the sounds of nature, honest conversations, and music, while following real-life interactions.

The Lincoln Company, part of the Lincoln School of Creative Arts at the University of Lincoln, is a group of emerging artists, dancers, and performers.

The Prawn To Be Wild Fish Co. are having a terrible day! These mobile fishmongers are on the run from a mischievous flock of savvy seagulls and are having to sell their fishy produce on the fly. Can the fishmongers finally shake their feathery foes, or will humans and gulls have to learn to coexist? Join the chaos as this high-energy double act brings the streets to life with interactive puppetry, comedy, and plenty of fishy business.

Feasible Ferret Theatre’s mix of interactive comedy and fun-filled silliness spreads joy and laughter, creating connections, surprises, and smiles for audiences of all ages.

A folding bench brings together three strangers from different walks of life. Through playful interactions, they challenge identity, status, and societal roles. Three performers blend hip hop and circus with intricate moves and impressive agility, delivering a captivating contemporary performance.

Simple Cypher blends hip hop and circus to create dynamic, uplifting performances. Their work breaks down stereotypes and divisions in race, education, and class.

SEAScape Conference at SO Festival 2025: Reimagining Coastal Culture

Skegness will play host to SEAScape at SO Festival 2025, a three-day international gathering of artists, curators, urban thinkers, and cultural leaders exploring the intersection of art, place, and social change in coastal communities.

Sound Board is a dynamic show that evolves in real-time, blending chat, games, and live performances. It’s filled with quick debates, fun challenges, and moments of honesty. One minute you’re playing a game, the next you’re celebrating under a shower of confetti.

Each show is unique, bursting with big ideas and bold opinions. With no scripts or filters, it’s all about the energy of the moment. Hosted by professional performers and local young people, Sound Board is a space to talk, discover, and connect.

Zest make space for young people to be heard, using creativity to amplify their voices through theatre and cultural experiences.

Jenny Lumb’s comedy takes us on a fun adventure with feisty seagulls fighting over prime spots at the local chippy.

When a new seagull arrives with a taste for sushi leftovers, it shakes up the flock. Will they embrace new flavours or will feathers fly?

A heartwarming tale of heritage, seafood, and community.

Tape That is a delightful, non-verbal acrobatic duet, using colourful tape, object manipulation, and partner acrobatics. With elements of physical theatre, a simple roll of tape transforms into DJ decks, a spyglass, and physical borders that the performers must navigate together. “Tape That” playfully explores and reimagines our world today, showing how many problems can be solved with just a few rolls of duct tape.

Hands Down Circus began in 2016 when Graham, an ex-engineering apprentice eager to master the diabolo, and Carys, a mathematics drop-out with a passion for the trapeze, met and joined forces, leaving behind the diabolo and trapeze to explore new horizons.

Unboxed

Unboxed is an explosive outdoor duet in which the dancers set themselves in opposition to two giant wooden cubes in a physical representation of their battle with prejudice and judgment.

The toxicity of the subject matter reverberates in the pulsing soundtrack and the performers’ athletic physicality which draws on Afro-fusion and Contemporary movement styles.” Linden Dance Company is an innovative professional dance company based in Birmingham, creating passionate and exciting new works in their signature Afro-Contemporary style. The company champions positivity, individuality and free expression, blending positive physical and mental wellbeing training throughout all areas of its work.

Wanted

In the dusty streets of City Town the Banker gasps for breath while the Secretary’s screams pierce the air. Amidst this chaos, the Sheriff prepares to restore justice. A classic Western showdown that takes place between the sinister gangster and a determined Sheriff, destined to face off in the heart of the Far West for one final, epic duel.

Wanted is a unique show performed by a comedian and a sound effects engineer, it draws inspiration from Western movies and cartoons. The show blends various styles, including silent cinema, mime, and buffoonery. The story is told through body language, mime, and pantomime, creating a captivating and visually engaging experience.

Bruital Company was founded by Barnabé Gautier, noise-maker, and Lorraine Brochet, mime, in 2012. Their work develops and experiments with noisy mime and lip sync.
